Rebecca C. Hanniford

Rebecca C. Hanniford is an associate with the firm’s transactional team. Her practice encompasses a variety of transactional matters, including commercial financing and real estate development.

Becca graduated from the University of Tennessee where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology. Becca earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law where she graduated cum laude with a Concentration in Business Transactions. During law school, Becca was awarded the James R. & Nell W. Cunningham Award, selected as a Legal Process Fellow, and served as the Vice President of the Latino/a Law Student Association.

Prior to joining the firm, Becca’s practice focused on the representation of lenders and borrowers in FHA-insured loan transactions, including complex affordable housing transactions involving low-income housing tax credits and multi-family housing bonds. During her career, Becca has closed loan transactions in over 25 states for a wide range of commercial and individual clients.

In her free time, Becca enjoys cheering on the Tennessee Vols and Memphis Grizzlies and spending time with her family and miniature dachshund, Grizz.
