Amanda White
Of Counsel
Amanda B. White, a Northeast Tennessee native, serves as Of Counsel to the Firm’s transactions team. Her practice focuses on a broad range of complex real estate and corporate matters.
Mandy earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from The University of Tennessee Winston College of Law in 2015, where she served as Publications Editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University (2002) and a Master of Business Administration from King University (2007).
Mandy began her legal career with an AmLaw Global 200 firm, where she was a member of the firm’s commercial real estate practice group. In that role, she developed extensive experience in real estate and corporate transactions through representation of both borrowers and lenders in real estate development and financing transactions, as well as by advising on commercial leasing matters, corporate formations, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mandy served as in-house counsel for a national retailer headquartered in Knoxville, where she regularly handled complex corporate agreements, advised on regulatory compliance matters, and managed state data privacy and security compliance. She also counseled executive leadership on strategy and risk management to support business objectives. In addition, she has significant experience drafting and negotiating noncompetition agreements, confidentiality agreements, and a wide range of commercial contracts.
When she is away from the office, Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their daughters.
